The horses are colts. Riders are children between 4-10. They race for 30 km and usually include few hundreds horses to over thousand horses. Why they ride so long distance? We can just say that Mongolians are preparing horses to run for thousands kilometers from yearly age. It was a part of military training in ancient times, so do for Wrestling and archery.

mongolian horse is better for long range but other horeses are better shotter distance.

I lived in Mongolia for 13 and half years. I have lived here and there, but of all the people that I have come across, I like Mongolians the best. Thank you to all Mongolians who befriended me and made my life enjoyable when I lived there.

I am sure they win. Mongolian horses run for 30 kms full speed. Thoroughbreds cant do that.

It would have taken mongols less than one month to conquer the whole europe. All they had to do was to just ride into the europe because there was no defense against them When hungry,russia, poland, part of germany, part of austria, and other eastern europe were wiped out by mongols, western europe was ready to surrender. had not civil war called back mongols to their land, europe would be very different today. As a Christian, I have to believe that it was God's intervention. I thank God.
