I think the word 'Fanny' should be retired in both the U.K and U.S. It's too confusing for both countries and sounds sort of silly anyway. We English do have a problem though: we dont have any words to replace it that don't make it sound like a horrible object. Americans have 'pussy' which sounds good when Americans say it, but crap when the English use it. What are we to do?
