It happens an insanely surprising amount... It's one of those "I've never met any one in that situation" or "that would never happen to me" things. My fiance was cheated on by his first wife and my dad just confessed to an affair this year. Yeah it's all too common.

I really think is a dumb ass song... I don't give a shit how much u love somebody, if they're already married and you're retarded anough to get involved, you deserve the heart ache! This is one of those songs that makes me think "oh you poor bitch home wrecker!" Hmmm kind of like the "sympathy" I felt for my dad and his mistress 6 months ago... Unbelievable.

actually. this song is about jennifer and her guitarist. he's married and they had an affair with each other. he went back to his wife, and while doing this video and the recording she bawled her eyes out the entire time. she had real feelings for him, but he didnt show the same

I think the obvious point to the song is. She was with this man, they broke up and he is now dating another woman. But she loves him still, and he obviously still loves her because he tells her he'll be with her eventually, but it isn't happening and that's why she's torn.
