also if you notice, Hes on a boat, in the water. Wind is usally stronger over water. He dumps ash from the bowl into the water after his hit... Why would he hide, then show his bowl to everyone as he dumps it!! If he was "hiding" he also did a horrible job.. everyone could see him anyways!
