Ok, stop arguing about who is better than whom. This is music. You guys/gals obviouslly know nothing about it. In music, people use others as influence. You might say that some modern artist in better than Hendrix, but that artist is probably a Hendrix fenatic. And you might say Hendrix is better than a modern artist, but Hendrix played music for the sake of playing music. He would be ashamed if people used him to insult others. Just injoy it.
On that note, Hendrix + accustic = awesome.

All these people who say "so and so is better than Jimi blah blah etc" need to stop. Jimi created and innovated a lot of firsts and took music far and beyond where only a handful of musicians of that era could. When you are the first, you don't need to be the "best" whatever that means.

I have watched now over two years hendrix's videos..In my opinion Hendrix is not the best guitarist. It seems to me that Hendrix wasn't trying enough with guitar..he didn't trained enough for concerts for example..he made new songs by jamming. All his melodies and licks came from his jamming sessions. Hendrix played this same hear my train a comin in maui with no pick. In that concert he messes up with the solo..because he don't can play electric guitar without a pick.
