I re-made Unlocked Girl (originally by IOSYS) from scratch. It's a kind of 'Robbi-985 Remix'. (That's the name I tend to go by the most online). The voice is SUPPOSED to sound electronic. I'm ashamed to say this, but Miku didn't really suit. As usual, if you want to know what I used to do it, all info's at the end of the video (credits). If you like the sound of it, PLEASE download the high-quality stereo MP3. YouTube's mono compression has lost a lot of detail. The MP3 link's at the end of this description. The only downside is that the download speed is kinda slow, but I think the final result makes up for that. ;P Oh, and please, please comment! :D EDIT: Nooo! it sounds really cool robotic like that great job on it and man you are so right 100% about you tube changing all thier videos from the orginal high quality stereo sound to bland boring mono sound its 2008 not 1948 its a shame to cuz stereo sounds so much more superior and unique to mono *sighs* oh well great video and song keep up the good work you got a lot of creavity with music

Haha, no, it wasn't Miku. ;) As I said in the video, it was a voice I made with the "Virtual Singer" part of a program called Melody Assistant (by Myriad Software). In my "updated remix" of this song, Miku does the backing vocals. I just added that updated remix as a video response to this video, since I only just realized that it doesn't even show up as a "related video". =/

IOSYS are a famous music production group which made a song called "Unlocked Girl ~ The girl who left her secret room". I heard the song and liked it, so I used a load of synths (including a computer program to make the purposely-electronic-sounding voice) to try to re-make the song from scratch. No humans are singing and no friends were involved. ;)

Thanks! ^^ I mdae an updated version of this remix which I uploaded a little later. If you check that video, you can see my pathetic attempts of understanding the Japanese lyrics and translating them. One kind YT member was able to help me out with several lines I was struggling with.
