What a pretty melody and lyrics to this special song. Karen had a unique gift of voice and expression.

Klaatu.... hope is an excellent album, never was a big fan of the carpenters, the misses loves them, but at least they help bring Klaatu to a wider audience

Brings childhood memories flooding back. Karen had one the most beautiful, natural singing voices I have ever heard. Thanks for the blast from the past, I'm sitting here thinking about Mum and Dad, wearing my Bruce Lee T-shirt and drinking Fresca. Happy Days!

No need for me to look anything up, friend. I had the vinyl 1976 Klaatu album in-hand, and transcribed it from vinyl to digital in 1998, as part of a preservation project I was working on at the time. |
