These are good exercises, but they are NOT plyometrics. These are simple stretch-shortening exercises or bodyweight exercises. To be plyos, you need to set off the myotatic reflex, which is involuntary. It is only set off if you lose your balance, and if thats the case, you can't control the next move well enough to force a strong concentric contraction. Good Body weight exercise. Definitely not Plyo.

make sure you give the guy in front of you lots of room, we had a guy hit a hurdle and the hurdle swung up and destroyed the next guys shins

lol we did this in practice today for the first time and only one person wiped out, but it was ok because he caught himself :)

baleheads is rite actually...to a certain point lol. I jump 6'6" in Nike Donks during the meet and once 6'8 hits ill throw on some high jump spikes. The weight difference is dramatic. Seems like im a lot more lighter on my feet rather than jumping in high jump spikes the wholeee entire time.
