Hmm... same Magna Carta of 1215 that tied the Pope and the King together at the hip? Sure, that's Bush's interpretation of the Constitution: He's King of the World and Jesus is the only true Pope. And yes, the MC was an incredibly influential document to many countries throughout the centuries. However, America 'did' improve on it by removing the theocratic binds, kingship and allowing states far more freedom. Just sayin...

"Making the new world democratic"?. Paalleez. America took notes from the Magna Carta of 1215 from England for their Charter of Rights and Declaration of Independence. Canada, a British Colony, continued with its Rights from the Magna Carta. When WILL America get its facts straight and STOP rewriting history? Excuse me....I'm having a difficult day.....

Thanks Bill, it definitely is an arrogant thing to proclaim ur own greatness and insulting to the great ideas & great people born from other countries. I hate it when Obama endorses this idea esp. when America elicits hostility and disrespect from the rest of the world. Humble down and remember there is no such thing as a greatest country on earth, especially when that country has waged an illegal war on a powerless nation.

Russians didn't make some outstanding sacrifice that other countries didn't make, however they were the key in the German loss. However, it wasn't their military that did it. It was the Nazi's poor planning, and lack of foresight that... well.. it gets cold as shit in Russia during the winter. Equipment stopped working, and so did people's internal organs. America was mainly protecting England and Destroying Japan... and we unleashed a whole new monster there.
