guys, we really need to petition Jan Hammer to re-release his "Miami Vice Complete Collection" CD. It was selling for $19.95 on his website. They are now out and don't plan to produce anymore. The album now sells for $199 on ebay and amazon. It contains 2cds-46 tracks of Jan's Vice music. Please go to his website and ask them to re-release the album at $19.95!!!

A work of art, mate!

"Evan" rates up there along side with Tangerine Dreams stuff, most notably in "Risky Business" opening credits score. 80's instrumental/synth tunes are truly a lost art.

There are at least three amazing themes that are introduced and resolved during the course of Evan -- musically, it's the equivalent of someone telling a great, well thought out story.

I would definitely describe Evan as surreal and intense! Those are the very words I've used since I first heard it. The song fills me with such an amazing energy -- very deep, very determined [especially around 1:55 when that backbeat drops in].
Amazing!! Transcendental!!

Yes, Jazzstanton - awesome is the right way to describe William Russ! I haven't thought of that Wiseguy scene in years. I think that one of the reasons that show was so good was because of the actors who showed up in the various arcs - Ray Sharkey, Anthony Dennison and, of course, Kevin Spacey. Is it on dvd?

He was AWESOME in Wiseguy!
"I could turn you into a tuning fork!"
His character's injury made him cooler too - remember the crossbow by the lakeshore?
