I know. "Trepidatious" might be the word.

With you on that, wooterman - in fact, there's barely a solo that doesn't have some rhythmical nightmares for the young guitarist :)

that song is easy. till you get to the solo, i'd bet all the money in the world that there isn't a guitar player who can play it note for note with the same timing. :]

Wow! 4X - how do you top that? You'd never need to see another show for the term of yer natural life! I only saw the ZPZ gig in lil' ol' Adelaide, where they performed "Percy the Porcine" exclusively! Magic show, here's hoping ZPZ returns to Oz ;)

Try "Black Napkins" (Zoot Allures)

He sure did, Barney. Where did you see ZPZ? I saw both Sydney concerts. (I also saw the great man himself four times; heaven on a stick!)

I love 'The Dub Room Special' live version with Bruce Bickford's claymation during the mid-section solo.(the basic rhythm tracks from that are also on this recording.)Never got to see the great man play live, but I was lucky enough to witness Zappa Plays Zappa last year on their Oz tour(with Ray White & Steve Vai).It was one of the happiest nights of my life! Dweezil did his old man proud.I'm sure when they played this song,Frank was smilng upon 'em ;) |
