The basic gameplay is similar, but the missions, storylines, and a lot of other details change, which makes it better. And I hated how Ace Combat 3 had that anime feel, but that's my opinion. :/

Yeah, they decided to give the music for AC:ZERO a spanish flair to it, which lots of people (myself included) felt added to the feeling of danger...

Personally, I like the feeling of actually being IN the plane. (I hate first-person view, but I love the cockpit view) <-(forgive me if they sound like the same thing, I tried to make a clear distinction between the two) |
