If comedy that relies on social and historical commentary makes you puke, you oughta avoid Python. With two Oxford graduates and two Cambridge graduates among them, their humor is designed to enlighten as well as amuse.

Terry Jones, the director and the guy playing the hermit here, is a historian and responsible for a lot of the historic authenticity. If only they were as careful about other details, like the supposed juniper bush. Anyone who knows plants knows that's not a juniper. That's a minor thing, though.
