This week on Backyard FX we show you how to build a real lightsaber. Erik Beck unearths the original lightsaber blueprints from the special effects creator for Star Wars. And now we show you how to buy parts to a real lightsaber so you can have your own custom Star Wars weapon. In the test film you'll see our rotoscoping technique on how to complete the effect with some simple computer animation. For full tutorial information go to videocopilot.net For more tutorials on how to build your own lightsaber go to bigyellowbox.tripod.com For more special effects and our own lightsaber instructions go to indymogul.com Now go forth and find your inner jedi, and with your new lightsaber in hand you can officially join the jedi academy. Next we'll teach you how to perform jedi mind tricks.

Nice, I knew the light were special effects though. Sadly, I most probally dont have the tools to make the saber... let alone the effects.

No.. That wouldent work.. Then it would be 3984394 feet long, There would be nothing to cap the length of the lazers..
