My pen pal from newfoundland once wrote this about newfoundland and canada... AND I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP!. "We Newfoundlanders are embarrassed to be lumped in with Canadians Often when you see a Newfoundlander with a Mainlander (typical Canadian), the Canadian will end up doing something that will embarrass the Newfoundlander for being seen in public with the nice but slow Canadian."
