I'm interested to know how you got the TPI manifold to match up to the Hotcam, as the TPI falls flat after 4500 and the cam makes power to 5500. Just because a crate motor makes 3XX horsepower doesn't mean it will with _any_ intake slapped on it. Looks clean though.

yea fucking right man id take a 350 any day over a 327,, fuck the 327 and i kno plenty of people that run 11 second cars that have a 350 in them that will tell you the same thing

make the 305 into a boat anchor, forget the 350 get a old 327. The 327 is more motor than any 350 could ever hope to be! Sure are hard to find now though.

totally agree, some times when you punch it off the line it breaks your neck, other times it spits, sputters, and falls on it's face. Oh yeah, Gotta remember to dis-connect the brown wire with the black line to time em too! TBI or TPI are great stock, but save time/headaches/money when HP is added+ and skip all the fuel programs and just bolt on a bloody carb! Cheers!

truly a beautiful car

youd be better off to buy a new crate 350 then to bore out a 305 to a 350 neways. if you you can do it then your pushing that block to the max which is never good

Well... how the cars "sounds" is relative.... personal opinion If you will. All computer controlled cars have idling issues to a degree when you get crazy with the cam(s). Because.. the computer is constantly adjusting the timing and A/F ratio. So when you rev the car or whatever and then let it fall back to idle they usually spit and sputter and almost shut off. I've owned 2 F-bodys with "hot" cams and they both did it. Both were also tuned, one with aftermarket chip, other dyno.

What are you talkin about?? The car sounds good what does the car being computer controlled have to do with it being able to handle a cam? All you have to do is get the right tune and it will be fine.
