There's a very sharp difference between being flawed and being a lunatic. I don't expect perfection from anyone, but willfully dismissing science as incorrect when the subject of religion is cast onto the table, while blissfully enjoying all the conveniences it provides in every other facet of life is bullshit, plain and simple. To be as forthcoming as possible, I honestly don't give a shit if people find such delusions comforting. In no way does that grant any credence to false beliefs.
