that is not a sonic boom, rather its a pressure cloud. what happens is that the air is pressurized quickly, then decompressed, and water vapor in the air condenses in the lower pressure, then disappears when it goes back to normal pressure. this is what happens on planes. as the sonic boom pressurizes the air, the vacuum condenses the vapor in the pocket.
