this does work in xp im using it in xp fine.
only demo that doesent work is cascade for 8800 ultra needs dx10.

the replacement one goes alright, need for speed carbon with everything full, when the 9 series comes out I will buy and 8800 ultra,

Don't buy an 8 series card unless your getting the 8800.

it does work with xp just only supports dx9 drivers. and at the time nvidia was using a specialy made driver for xp for presentation purposes

No... sorry guys. Doesnt work with xp. Yu need DX10 which is exclusively for Vista.
