****PLEASE READ THIS FIRST*** For more information about seizures and epilepsy visit: http://www.epilepsy.com/ DISCLAIMER: I have not been diagnosed with epilepsy, and please understand that I suffer from seizures due to the neurological effects of Lyme Disease. I most often have simple partial seizures now that I am on medication to control them. I also have absence, complex partial, and before starting medication I suffered from tonic clonic (grand-mal)seizures. I currently take Neurontin and Keppra for seizure management. This is a very mild episode that has been edited down due to time constraints, this shows parts of a much longer episode. I actually come in and out of consciousness for about 10 minutes. My dog, actually alerts me that the seizures are coming on, she has done this since she was a puppy and she's a certified service dog The footage at the end is some time after I have come back to consciousness and am some what alert. Remember not all seizures look the same and it is important to educate yourself about the many types of seizures so you can recognize when it is happening to you or someone you love. Due to the overwhelming response to this video I can only answer questions through PM so if you have further questions you can feel free to send me a PM. I chose to leave all comments, regardless of nature. for more videos that detail out the various types of seizures please check out: http://www.youtube.com/user/Je... (this is a little girl that has Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and suffers with quite a few types of seizures) First Aid Information: http://www.epilepsy.com/epilep... it kind of really looks like a seizure. i guess it doesn't really matter if it is fake or not.

I'll never understand people who feel like they need to be the authority of something that also afflicts other people. Things ARE DIFFERENT from person to person. Get off your soap boxes and appreciate what this person is trying to show the world.

If you look up the meaning of pseudo it means fake Oh and sorry for calling you a he.. I thought you looked a tad too girly to be a guy LOL Anyway, best of luck getting these "episodes" under control.. whatever they are, they can't be too good for your health (physical or mental).

I was having fits with only a minute or 2 between, but was put in a coma and on a breathing machine because of it and it's pretty rare for that to happen and if it does it's very serious and 911 needs to be phoned. I think there is confusion between non epileptic seizures and pseudosiezures.. one is a seizure caused by things like low blood sugar or liver/kidney issues.. the other is not a seizure at all, but looks like one.. hence NOT REAL/PSUEDO!!!

Also you don't have minute break in between seizures and start again, unless like me you have had status epilepticus and are going into one seizure after another, and unless your a child and have other problems associated with epilepsy, I cannot see how this person remains floppy with no limb stiffness, unless I have a doctor run through the whole seizure or episode with me, I remain unconvinced that this is true in the nature of epilepsy.
