WOW!!!! BC's don't need treats to work. They work because it's bred into them. The only thing a BC needs to learn how to herd is a trainer and good instinct, which good instinct usually comes bred into them.

it really depends on the dog and your devotion to the dog. it took me about.....2-3 months but thats when i worked with her about 15 min. a day but they catch on very quickly just make sure you have treats!!!!!!!! they are smart and if you dont have treats they wont do much.

How long does it take you to train up a BC ready for work? He looks to be doing just fine.
