I mean, when he was their age. When Gohan was 7/8 he couldn't become a super saiyan.

wtf are you talking about when gohan was a super saiyan he was actually strong remember in the world tournament when trunks and gotenks steel the costume and fight android 18 and struggle to beat her when gohan would have merked on her when he was super saiyan and gohan turned super saiyan 2 right after

Gohan wasn;t as strong as Goten and Trunks, but he would never give up and run away. Goten and Trunks are considering it when they lose to Majin buu..
