Yeah in fact - even thin ones are prone to disc disease due to the way they're built. My boy is a perfect weight but he's still having serious problems (paralysis of the back legs).
I'm happy that this girl is in a doggie daycare to get the exercise she needs :)

Don't Wiener Dog's have back problems since there so long and being overweight like that is going to strain its back.

Overweight dogs live 20% less then they would have normally. Keep with the weight loss and you'll have your best friend for a few more years.

this almost made me cry ive seen an overweght doxie befor and it was crying so loud Why because of its back hurting.but atleast they took her to a day care so im happy.=D
