No 100% true/accurate. Some businesses raise money by selling corporate bonds (called "junk bonds" when they're high-risk). Nobody borrows from the bank to buy those bonds!
Donald Trump financed some of his projects with those bonds. But when he couldn't pay them back, he had to give the bondholders most of his casinos in the form of "stock".

Of Course, look at the hurricane situation in Florida, how many people got screwed by their insurance companies during those catastophes... The cost was more than the companies were able to pay. The insurance companies, like the banks, take the risk that not all their customers will need their money at the same time. The total amount "Guarenteed" is much less than the actual amount they have.

So, if there were no people wanting loans in the first place, there would be no money?

A commodoties based currency greatly reduces the power of government, of course as long as we practice fractional reserve lending all economic reforms are moot.

Actually that's not true, it is not conservative.

It's the unequal value of different occupations that's the problem, with the minority (Fat cats/upper class) not truly working yet receiving the majority of wealth therefore using up the most resources and labour. Some people are virtually enslaved. As for consumerism, people are always going the spend their money on something or other, everyone wants their fair share of resources, labour, and status. Infact people want more than their fair share as humans like all animals are selfish creatures.

yes, when they need to produce trillions of dollars a day, the system will collapse unless they trick everybody into following a new money system, in which the old dollar bills will be worthless.
