You can probably run them just fine using WINE. However if you run into any issue's just turn off compiz. Sometimes compiz and wine can have issues with each other.

Wine Is Not an Emulator! Sorry, didn't mean to yell. :D That is what Wine actually stands for though. It's more of a compatibility layer.

hey guys. I am a flash developer desperately trying to solve a little problem. If i swith to Linux from Win XP, will i be able to run Flash 8 professional on it? How painful is it going to be ? any special emulators required ? In regards to other apps such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, are those compatible with Linux ? Cheers for quick and wise replies.

more applications for windows but you can still run them under wine (an windows emulator)
