i have the same thoughts, it was crap in 2007 that it was in telford, like a mile or so out of b'ham, but birmingham is not a very snooker like city. they should bring it back to preston

there is more price money in snooker today therefore it is silly to judge a player on his winnings. also 700 centuries is a great achievement but that is a record that will be surpassed before 2015 or so probably by ding or possibly ronnie. dont forget hendrys snooker centuries are becoming fewer and others will need time to catch up. if ronnie and ding or any other top pros of today were around in the late 80's and 90's they would have won just as many titles as hendry.

hendry is a great player and everyone has there own opionions.John pulman was ten times world champion. Joe davis was 20 times chapion and fred his brother 14 times. true it was easier to win the world champ in the early days of snooker history because of less pros. but it was also easier to win in the 90's compared to the 2000's....
