Who cares if it's a cult or not? Doesn't matter how many people believe a bullshit myth, whether it be thousands or millions, it doesn't make it any more likely. Sure, Scientiologists believe asinine nonsense about evil aliens, but Christians believe in a zombie who is his own father (when not being a ghost) despite the complete lack of evidence. Neither sound particularly likely... just that Christianity was the adopted state religion of imperialist powers, allowing it to spread widely.

I'm not taking sides.And I do think It's wrong that you have to pay for it and It was set up by a guy who wrote science fiction novels but you cant say that Scientology is a lie or a cult because you can't say that the stuff they believe in isnt true.

Sparks4621: Yes. It IS a cult. Do you have any idea how many of its members had their lives ruined because of the 'donations' they had to give to the church? You realize in order to go forward in the CoS, to reach the level that they say makes you 'clear', you have to pay at least 300 thousand dollars. Do some research before you start taking sides.
