PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING! This is just a video of my wife and I playing with our pet Fennec. Please excuse my crappy editing. Update: 2-10-07 - Several people have asked where I got her. I bought her from a breeder in Cantonment, Fl. Her website is http://www.juliesjungle.com . I paid $1000 for her. Fennecs are NOT a pet to buy on an impulse. Do your research before considering buying one. They may not be the pet for you. Update: 5-27-07 - I've had several comments about how terrible it is of me to torture this poor animal. She's not being tortured. She is playing. If she didn't like it she would bite us or run from us. She is incredibly well cared for. What would be cruel is if she was on a fur farm waiting for slaughter. And yes, it is legal for me to have her. Where I live you have to pass a test to prove you are able to care for a certain animal and then get the permit. I HAVE THE PERMIT. I will no longer entertain "cruelty" comments from idiotic little teenage girls who have no idea what they're talking about or how to spell and use punctuation (this does not include ALL teenage girls, just the stupid ones that misspell on purpose). All new negative comments will simply be deleted and the person blocked. I will leave the previous comments only so people can read my and other peoples' responses. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hope you enjoy the video. Update: 6-7-07 - Some people have been asking what I feed her. In the wild they eat rodents, birds, eggs, reptiles, insects, and native vegetation. They are opportunistic feeders. I feed mine Innova Evo cat food, Solid Gold cat food, live stunned mice, crickets, mealworms, sometimes beetles and lizards when I can catch them, hard-boiled eggs, and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Update: 6-8-07 -- All comments will now have to be approved by me before being posted. I'm tired of the same repetitive, idiotic, degrading statements being made over and over again. If I don't answer your question it means it has probably already been answered here or in the comments over and over again. Please read through the comments before asking anything. Wow, that was cute. He either loves being tickled, or really hates it. xD

The embodiment of cuteness indeed

Thanks for the info. I have one more question about your fennec. Is she house broken to go out side or litter trained? I saw a few other videos and people were saying that they seemed to be better litter trained than outside trained or paper trained. Thanks.

Torture, huh? My first impression was that it looked like she was being tickled. I can see why someone would pay a grand for one. That's, like. . . The embodiment of cuteness.

Mine like small cat toys like balls, small stuffed animals, small chew sticks, etc. It's better to get any companion fennecs at the same time but fennecs are social and live in groups, so...
