I tried to see how close I could get to a whitetail deer in my back yard and I decided to grab the family video camera to capture the event. I was able to get 3 yards(maybe less) away from the deer until my dog came out and make quite a scene..

Yes, long and rather boring. Where's the "vs." part??? One time, my doxie chased deer out of the field behind the house, barking all the way. The three doe just hopped along with their white tails flashing, looking back and laughing at him the whole time, thinking "Yeah, right". It was hilarious!

Yup the only time I had a deer come that close was when out hunting and Fell asleep. I also had the first bear I got come that close too and I didn't like that.

how odd, people must be hand feeding it to have it that timid. Go out in the country and they run as soon as they see you.
