I agree it is indeed sad.I automatically think that perhaps surgery WAS NOT necessary.We will never know though.God bless the little 6 legged deer.Romp free and healthy @ your new habitat-FREE from man's intervention if man killed you inadvertantly or not.

unfortunatly the rome news tribune reported today that the poor deer died after surgery to remove the 2 extra legs on Aug 20 , two days after the surgery from some sort of vascular problem
that sucks and makes me sad

yeah i am from rome but am staying here at lake for summer.a UGA vet did surgery on the deer.I HOPE all goes well.

No. People abort FETUSES everyday that are not self aware, let alone capable of processing pain. A lump of undeveloped cells is hardly a baby in the romantic connotation you place on it.
Personally, I'd abort a human fetus before I kill a developed deer needlessly. :|
