Seeing as they're Irish it's unlikely they'd celebrate Thanksgiving, as it's an American Federal holiday. Do you even know what you're giving thanks for? It all relates to the settlers in America giving thanks for their safe journeys, or prosperity etc. Read up on it. Really, if you're going to be celebrating it you should know what it's about!
