Glowsticking also has many completely unique moves and is just a complete different art on its own. It's like the difference between nunchuku and poi.

Poi is like glowsticking. What separates them is the culture.
Poi has evolved from like 300 years ago from New Zealand from Maori people but now is done with fire, fabric and glow sticks.
Glowstringing evolved from raves, people just playing with glow sticks on string, and is generally done to dance to music and is often considered to have a different aesthetic to Poi. |
