i remember watching some show on discovery channel. They built and tested a flying or gliding machine, and found it worked. They also talked about his life. It sounds like he was more interested in art, science and discovery more than sex. They also talked about him being a man of many contradictions. He would help lords with designing superior machines of war, but disinclination and aversion toward petty quarrels of man. This is how I've always seen Leonardo.
