Belive me that it tell you Stacy Lattisaw has that voice and more . I seen her perform in person in 1989 and she was flawless in her vocals. I got close to see if she really was singing because it was moving and powerful. I sure hope she returns and records new music and in her private live she deserves the best. God has blessed her with a usefull talent. To motivate and model after her. I am proud to say I am a Stacy Lattisaw fan.

This isn't live - it's lip synched. I know because I've played the record hundreds of times.
That said, this is an incredible vocal. I think she betters the Moments original in terms of phrasing. One of the best R&B singles of the early 1980s, in my opinion.

Sounds like shes singing live which is ..very unusual on Soul Train generally artist lip sync the vocal..but she sounds like she singing live...I always liked Stacys nasal tone on her middle octave range...Doesnt appear that Stacy did too many live concerts as there is no footage of her in concert..Peace!

The most important reason she left, was she got the Holy Ghost and became a minister. I would love to hear her preach. I wonder what church she ministers at.
