One point I think we all miss about WWII, is how awsome the German army was. I mean yeah they were slightly evil and all but I mean taking on like 10 different Nations at once and doing as well as they did... from a military point of view, GO WERMACHT!!! ;)

The US have a long history of exploiting and depleting its own allies capabilities as well as their own, but make sure only US soldiers get the praise. Look at the current iraq war. All US say that US forces did it all - did you know that it was British and Australian SAS they went in before the US armada and performed key sabotage operations and laser designation operations to make sure the poor little US marines dont get hurt? Didnt think so

The only thing the US did do in reversing the pacific campaign was the battle of the Coral Sea, which only occurred because the Australians dug in so hard that the Japanese were forced to try and sail around PNG. And again with the European theatre, the only way D-Day worked was because the Nazis had most of its forces deployed against Russia. And if i remember correctly, it was the Russians that liberated Berlin, not the US.

Without the Australian and British in Africa, the nazi campaign wouldnt have ground to a halt giving your lazy assed forces time to finally join the battle there. Without the Australians on the ground in Papua New Guinea holding off the Japanese and killing hundreds, the Japanese would've had another decisive land mass under its control

You americans spend far too much time boasting about how you "won" WWII. Well perhaps you should practice what you preach Rugiviet and pick up a history book too. If the British RAF didnt hold off the Nazis, the US army and Navy wouldnt have had a staging area for its European war theatre. Without underground french resistance forces, you wouldnt have recieved vital nazi intel and sabotage of key locations
