When it comes to the white stripes, less is more. The drums are minimalistic, but that works. The riffs are more restrained, yet add to the song.

drums are meant to keep a tempo while adding rythmic interest. She is doing well, considering about 85% of drummers (including the refered to as "gods") can't keep the same tempo. Not bashing by any means on the drummers that don't keep tempo, everyone gets excited and wants to go faster when playing.

I don't agree with the drumming comment. The drumming works with this style of music. They are both what is considered minimalistic. They don't need to have huge riffs and hammering beats to make a great song. Heck, none of their albums have even taken more than three weeks to record!
