The plotline of Beowulf the movie (latest version): let's see Angelina Jolie naked and animated as some kind of hot demonic seductress with a tail that punctuates her real-life sexy freakines even further, and thereby ignoring the point of epic altogether.

shitsngiggle compared it to a video game which is actually pretty accurate but that just proves my point. The REAL story of Beowulf is nothing like a video game.

I completely agree flowbee79. I think the people who wrote the movie simply did not understand the story of Beowulf and what it was all about.

It was a big let down. I mean, I think who the one who wrote that screenplay missed the point of the original epic. Beowulf was for the Norse what the Arthurian Legends were for the Britons, an epic about one man trying to lead his land and people through dark and troubled times against great and sometimes supernatural odds.
