he never left, the drummer is this vid was sacked after the the first album for cocaine addiction (which slash did say seemed hypocritical) , they replaced him izzy left then came back due to being the only one that got clean in the band , but SLASH left properly in 1993/4 and duff followed. been AXL on his own ever since, as he owns the right to the name.

as the new album approaches I had to float through some of the real tunes where GNR was a band and knocking on heavens door made people cry and hope... I am 26, I admit I do listen to rap but I did when I listened to this so I can't hate however, when I think about MTV, I think about GNR videos I used to watch at 3 in the morning. To bad Axel and Slash couldn't bring it together now, they will I think after they realize they are better as 1. They'd make more $ just touring playing this.......

I love Guns N Roses. I am going to see the outragous Guns N Roses tribute band, Appetite For Destruction on Friday, Nov 21. AFD is playing at Frank Cariola's Sundance rock club, Rocky Point, Long Island, NY. Thats about 60 miles (90 minutes drive) from Manhattan. AFD looks like the original group, sounds like note for note and plays a whole night of GNR.

One needs the same talent to write poetry as one does to rap. It's not about talking. Anyone could do that. It's about the rhythm of the lyrics. It's justified if you say shit like "Soulja Boy" is crap music--because it is. Mainstream rap is mostly retarded and talentless. But you cannot say that Eminem and Tupac have no talent. They are master lyricists. AND they could execute. If someone gave you a beat and the lyrics to Tupac's "Keep Yo Head Up", you wouldn't be able to make that same art.

Well I honestly have to say that we got a bunch of little kids that don't know much about the music business and music that is ruling the world right now. Rap is a popular music but it is not ruling as much as alternative. see you guys all dress I bet like as if you like alternative or in style if you want old music to come back then you got to dress old like the way they did. Thats for sure going to bring back ral rock and roll none of this converse wear biker boots and denim and leather.
