okay so trvium like metalicca/ probably a huge influence, i think they probably, like most bands 'experimented' on their sound, personally id choose acsendancy over crusade like many others i could imagine. so they went back to their old sound, still, the crusade really isnt a bad album.

blah blah blah with the "trivium trys to be metallica" bullshit.they wanted to make a metal record with no screaming because everyone says metal bands use screaming as a crutch to be heavy and label any band that uses clean and harsh vocals as "metalcore" and they wanted to get away from that.these are classic metal vocals dudes.not just metallica.see annihlator,slayer,anthrax, testament,and any other old school metal band befor screaming was big.they honor oldschool metal and they do it well
