5*'s for your brilliant video about the trail of tears. If Andrew Jackson was alive today he'd be charged with crimes against the state, ethnic cleansing and so many other charges that could be brought against him. Please keep up the good work.

O'siyo Hello in Cherokee... My mothers side has cherokee. However, my sister in ar married into a family of indians " her second marriage" 22yrs ago. Her husands brother, last name Bean, in Ok city runs the BIA, indian affairs for 5 states , also a office in washington and his daughter also a attorney works out of the Washington office. I am shocked at the truth of our nation. We of corse slaughtered the natives across the US and took there land. Period.

The events that took place were unforivable by "American leaders" that must have been one of the worst things that the U.S has done to people, they will be remembered as racist due to the slavery and ignorance. I saw a really bad video stating that Andrew Jackson was the best president.....I think not he was just another racist.

hey, formybaby, that's a very sensitive and right way to see things: the only way out is starting to comunicate, to understand, to stop fanatism and ignorance - and then try to save this world together. Nature is dieing, due to many stupid errors, to greed and selfishness. Let's all help to make it a better world for our babies! I am german, living in Paraguay, with an adopted child, half Guarani indigena. I love him more than I can say - and would do everything for his (and our) future!

Your grandfather couldn't have been half of both you need two alleles for blue eyes even if one parent did give him an allele the other side-cherokee couldn't have they don't naturally possess blue eyes; so if your grandfather had blue eyes then he was less than half.

I, too, have some Cherokee. My father was Irish-Cherokee. He was half of both. His picture prove it too. The only thing that he looked Irish was his blue-hazel eyes. But everything else (light brown skin, dark hair, etc.). He told me that I had some too. I'm also Italian (my mother).

My grandma told me that one of my relatives was on the trail of tears. But he escaped and the soldiers never found him. Later he married, became a christian and had one son and two daughters.

I have "white" skin but my Great Great Grandmother is full blooded Cherokee. I have often thought that I need to be true to that which is in my blood and my heart. I feel that America is not going to be around much longer because it has been cursed and corrupted by the blood that has been spilt in it's name. We live in turbulant times but I want help people realize that we don't need this way of life. We are all brothers and sisters and until we realize that we cannot heal or change.
