I'm amazed when the guy says that he cannot look at the cow without thinking of lunch.
I see a life.
Of course nobody wants people to starve, but there are other avenues that we can take to prevent that without abusing animals. We do this in the name of science, but at what cost?
How many years will it take before the full effects are realized. It will be too late to say Oops when the next disease is diagnosed from factory farmed and selectively modified animals.

Umm... Sorry to be the guy saying this but we need genetic engineering. For example, if we didn't have genetically engineered crops we wouldn't be able to feed 1/3 of the world's population. That is 2 billion people that would starve to death. Funny how you can say things when you're not the person suffering.

Only problem with the cows is that their probably stupid, probably has something wrong with it's organs and if there was a disease that killed one of those cows then the whole lot is screwed.
