I dont think theres a static button on 2.48. go to the emiter buton.Most likly check out the 26th tutorial its and upgraded version of this one.

I got the same damn problem! idk wtf is going on!!! Try refreshing the page over and over till it loads.

Are the youtube servers slow these days or something? I cannot load the video correctly. After loading it 3 minutes, I can only watch about 20 seconds because it loads so f***ing slow. May someone help me?

Fascinating tutorial on particles. It re-enforces earlier tutorial on free-floating particles. I don't really like the keyboard-shortcuts in Blender so I liked the way i could *see* everything you were doing on the screen with the mouse. Thanks for another great tutorial :)
