Noise reduction technology should be kept out of the hands of virtually everyone. GEE WHIZ it sure sounds better when that NR is gating and pumping up a storm. Yeah, I'd MUCH rather hear the band disappear in the quiet parts than (gasp) some crackle or hiss. I love Louis...leave his recordings alone, hiss and all!
