Is Altoona a nice place to live? I'm thinking of relocating there. I live in Los Angeles and it's too congested and dangerous these days and i'm looking for a small city with all the amenities,doctors,libraries,bus transit and supermarkets. Can somebody give me a clue about Altoona. I don't mind cold weather and want to live somewhere that has old fashioned diners where friends meet.
