i see, i dont think i did sth wrong. My gun is actually rather spud, than a nerf gun, it is full iron and quite heavy. Well i guess that the recoil depends on the ammo, ur shooting. I have used usually wooden blocks but sometimes iron cylinders, too, and they have recoil alright.
