Hi, I just found this video again after so many years. My husband was actually the person flying the manta at Lake Tinaroo in Atherton. (Our boat is the red boat). The following day he was "bucked off" and ended up in intensive care with broken ribs and damage to his kidneys. He was extremely lucky that the following film boat picked him up out of the water as he had blacked out and was face down. It didn't help that he had a new driver and had lengthened the rope.
