Yes, & they cranked up the bass on this single - finally! I'm often amazed at how many people young & old (even musicians) are in the dark about what a GREAT bass player Paul was. Maybe it's because his unbelievable gift as a composer (coming UP with all the GREAT bass lines) sometimes overshadows his brilliant & solid playing. Just about everything he did was superb, & he often really shines on John's & George's songs . . . probably because his mind was in a way freer to explore, experiment.
