ricksparks, seriously... I still think the evidence u post to disprove the bible as invalid. As for the first 5 bks believed to be written by Moses was not claimed as a solid fact but believed so because it has accounts on Moses. However, as pointed by historians, it may not be cause there's no personal writings of "I went to the mountain" etc... You claimed lies... what are they? No one claimed tat Abraham found Monotheism but believe he was the one. "Believe" is a subjective term.

ricksparks, some evidence tat u misunderstood "The Bible's Buried Secrets"... Q: You say that the Torah is a product of the Exile, but was it entirely written in this period? No. We do not mean that the Torah was written from scratch at that point. It was obviously not. Clearly in earlier centuries there were stories, laws, genealogies that were circulating, perhaps in written form. There were solid evidences that some bks were written b4 Babylonian exile period.

ricksparks, btw, that "The Bible's Buried Secrets" wasn't against Theological studies. In fact, it supports it. You seriously have a habit of selective and poor understanding of things. No one claimed that the bible originated as a book. All Christians understood that the bible consists of 66 books all written at different era. Torah don't exist as well until at certain time it was canonized just like the bible. Whoever studied history knows that well.

ricksparks... What you say is half true. No one can scientifically prove that God exists just as no one can prove that he does not exist. Just as Blaise Pascal the famous mathematician said about faith and reason, "There is sufficient light for those who desire to see, and there is sufficient darkness for those of a contrary disposition."

Even science is not so bold enough to make claims about what is true or not true beyond the world attenable to the five senses. Though science says no scientifically verifiable concrete claims about the world beyond the five senses is possible (KANT) what science does not do however is deny the possibility of a reality that extends beyond the five senses not subject to verification methods of science.

No true scientist worth his salt would say what you say... No evidence; No god. A true scientist would say... No evidence of god attenable to the five senses. If you're a thinking or rather "sensing" man, the very possibility of a world beyond the five senses is definitely a most probable one.
