you're right "somaliland" did exsist before 1991 and you know when that was? IN THE COLONIAL DAYS. you want to know what blood thirsty people are? the very people in the "somaliland" government who TORTUED, RAPED and then handed in enocent MUSLIM somalis from the ogaden to the ethiopians who are the WORST ENEMY of all somalis. and plz lets be honest here the north of somalia dosnt have one thing that the south dosnt have in terms of finance and structure if anything the south is richer.

its great that peace has come to the north but seperation isnt the best idea. no one recognizes "somaliland" because it violates somalis territorial integrity. "somaliland" is a clan based nation and if every clan in somali where to say "we want independance" how well would every one get along? its an unrealistic and dreamy fantasy our division can only aid the enemies of all somalis.

I am from puntland and i respect my fellow somalis who are moving forward.. specialy that young lady who earned her P.H.D.. we are divided nation with one language under every other things in common. i wish Souther somalia would fallow the same path and we could all someday realize we need each other. again keep moving forward by brothers..
