The airlift that Mr. Obama refers to happened before JFK became President. There was a Kenyan diplomat by the name of Tom Mboya who initiated that first airlift. The second airlift never happened because the request from Senator John Kennedy in the form of a memo dated July 26, 1960 was denied by the State Department! So, this video is another fabricated story of Barrack Obama's. Oh, and he was born in 1961 the Selma march didn't happen until 1965.

This is actually a very common trait among intelligent people who tend to be verbally inclined. Also with people who learn foreign languages more easily. It is thought to be a sub-conscious attempt to relate to an audience or listener, not at all an attempt to be artificial, as is often assumed. People who are more narcissistic and/or less educated tend to have more difficulty adapting their speech patterns in diverse settings.

I love how Obama changes his accents to fit in with the people his is talking to (when speaking with mainly black people in Alabama, he talks with a steriotypical accent of a southern black man, but he doesnt actually talk like that normally and doesnt normally have a southern accent or a steriotypical black preacher way of talking)
